Performance Guarantee & Testing Protocol

(Appendix A to the Advidors Terms of Service)

We hate fine print as much as you do. This isn’t a legal trap — it’s a controlled framework designed to ensure fair testing and a win-win outcome for both parties.

To keep our “10% Conversion Lift or You Don’t Pay” guarantee valid, the following Clean Lab Conditions must be maintained throughout the test period.

1. The Baseline (“The Boss to Beat”)

The baseline Conversion Rate (CVR) is defined as the average CVR from the previous 30 consecutive days, measured in Shopify Analytics, for the specific product and page type selected for testing.

We are not competing against historical spikes, seasonal peaks, or one exceptional day. The comparison is made against your current operating reality.

2. Apples-to-Apples Comparison (Non-Negotiable)

We compare like for like only.

  • If the baseline is a Product Detail Page (PDP), Advidors will build and test a PDP.

  • If the baseline is a Landing Page, Advidors will build and test a Landing Page.

Cross-page comparisons (e.g., PDP vs Landing Page) are not valid and will not be used to determine performance outcomes.

3. Price Freeze

Conversion rates are directly influenced by price.

If the product price, discounting structure, shipping fees, or checkout pricing logic is altered during the test period, the experiment is invalidated.
In such cases, the performance guarantee is void and the full project fee becomes payable.

4. Traffic Consistency

The test must run on the same traffic source(s) used to establish the baseline.

  • If the baseline was built on Meta Ads, testing must continue on Meta Ads.

  • Introducing new traffic sources, drastically altering audience quality, or pausing paid traffic invalidates the test.

Traffic quality must remain materially consistent with the baseline period.

5. Ad Creative Consistency

Ads and landing pages function as a system.

Creative assets responsible for establishing the baseline must remain active during the test period. Replacing high-performing ads with untested creatives mid-test introduces new variables and voids the guarantee.

6. No-Tinkering Rule

Once the test begins, the website environment must remain stable.

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Theme changes

  • Backend code changes

  • Installing or removing apps

  • Developer interventions

Any unapproved modifications during the test period void the guarantee.

7. Inventory Availability

The tested product must remain in stock.

If the product becomes unavailable, the test is paused. Once inventory is restored, the test restarts and the evaluation window resets.

8. Statistical Validity

Results are evaluated only when one of the following conditions is met:

  • 95% statistical significance, or

  • A minimum of 2,500 unique visitors to the tested page

Tests cannot be ended prematurely based on intuition, short-term fluctuations, or subjective judgment.

9. Source of Truth

Shopify Analytics is the sole and final source of performance data.

Metrics will be agreed upon before launch. External dashboards, third-party tools, or anecdotal interpretations will not override Shopify-reported results.

10. The Outcome

  • If the 10% CVR lift is achieved:
The engagement is deemed successful and the project fee applies in full.

  • If the 10% CVR lift is not achieved:
    The client pays $0.

The client retains full ownership and use of the landing page or PDP delivered as part of the engagement.

11. Binding Agreement

By proceeding with payment, the client acknowledges that this Success Protocol forms part of Advidors’ Terms of Service and agrees to be legally bound by its conditions. Failure to adhere to any requirement outlined above voids the performance guarantee.
